How Technoles, a leading Bulgarian manufacturer of band saw blades and machines for their maintenance, uses AI EDIH’s laboratories
1. Manufacturing parts for the machines it develops and produces
Technoles uses the AI EDIH’s laboratories to develop new machines and products without making large investments at an early stage. Since the company still manufactures its machines in small series, the EDIH’s laboratory equipment allows the company to:
- Quickly produce the necessary parts in small quantities
- Test new designs and ideas
- Make adjustments and improvements before mass production
This reduces costs and speeds up product development.
2. Assessing which machines are best suited for its future production
Technoles can test different CNC machines in the laboratories and processes to see which ones will be most effective when the company decides to expand its production. This helps to plan the right investments.
3. Quality control of PCD tools
The profilometer in the AI labs is used to measure the geometry of PCD (polycrystalline diamond) tools before and after their servicing by EDM. In this way, Technoles guarantees high quality and precision in the repair and maintenance of these tools.
