On September 10, 2025, a specialized training session was held at the Laboratory of Artificial Intelligence in Manufacturing, located on the premises of Impuls Ltd, for students from the part-time study program at the Technical University of Gabrovo.
The training covered key topics related to modern industrial development, including:
- Application of Artificial Intelligence in Manufacturing – automation, process optimization, and intelligent control;
- Digitalization of Production Processes – data integration, real-time monitoring, IIot (industrial internet of things) and digital twins;
- 5-Axis Machining Center – specifications, technical characteristics, purpose, advantages, and hands-on training for operating the machine.
The event provided students with the opportunity to explore real industrial applications of cutting-edge technologies and gain practical skills essential for their future professional careers.
The Artificial Intelligence Laboratory continues to serve as a bridge between academia and industry, offering innovative solutions and training aligned with current technological trends.
The project is funded by the Programme “Research, Innovation and Digitalisation for Smart Transformation” 2021–2027, co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund. The project is coordinated by the Regional Innovation Centre “Ambitious Gabrovo”.
