Presentation of the EDIH Project for North Central Region in Bulgaria and the provided Services & EENpower project
On 5th December 2025, a meeting between local businesses and the European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) for the North Central Bulgaria Region – AI EDIH, was held at the Silistra Municipality, focusing on practical solutions for digital transformation and business growth. Entrepreneurs, managers and representatives of local institutions discussed ways to build modern, sustainable and technology-driven business models.
The EDIH team presented its key services for small and medium-sized enterprises, including Digital Maturity Assessments, the Test Before Invest approach for risk-free testing of innovative technologies, training and skills development programmes, and support in identifying national and European funding opportunities. Participants emphasized the importance of such hands-on support for adopting Industry 4.0 practices.
The event also introduced EENpower, an initiative under the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), presented by RIC “Ambitious Gabrovo,” the regional coordinator for North Central Bulgaria. EENpower supports companies in entering international markets, finding partners, and promoting products and technologies across Europe through the EEN partnering platform and international B2B events.
The meeting confirmed strong interest from local businesses in both digitalisation and international cooperation. RIC “Ambitious Gabrovo” will continue to support companies in their digital and innovation journey and remains available for consultations and participation in EDIH and EEN initiatives.
