A regional business forum was held on January 25, in the ritual hall of the Municipality of Gabrovo. During the event, companies from the region presented their innovative projects and good practices. The possibilities of the Technology Park at the Technical University – Gabrovo were also presented.
The attendees were informed about current data on the regional economic profile of Gabrovo, as well as the possibilities for business financing and cooperation in 2023.
Companies from the city were introduced to the opportunities that Enterprise Europe Network offers and after the event several of them showed interest and were later registered on the platform.
The forum is jointly organized by the Municipality of Gabrovo, Regional Innovation Center “Ambitious Gabrovo”, Gabrovo Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Regional Administration – Gabrovo and the Technical University. It is part of the program of the newly created innovation cooperation team “Gabrovo ICT”.
With the help of this structure, better interaction between companies and research organizations will be achieved, business will be provided with expert support and its capacity to participate in funding procedures and partnership networks will be increased. The goal is to develop more innovative products in the region and improve technology transfer.
