Information campaign under the procedure “Support for the transition to a circular economy in enterprises”

The Directorate General European Competitiveness Funds (DG ECF) of the Ministry of Innovation and Growth is organising an information campaign on procedure BG-RRP-3.008 “Support for the transition to a circular economy in enterprises”.

The campaign will run from 04 September 2023 to 11 September 2023.

During the information days, experts from the Directorate General European Competitiveness Funds will present the procedure to stakeholders in the cities of Gabrovo, Plovdiv and Sofia.

The information days are open and will take place according to the following schedule:

• Gabrovo – 04 September 2023 (Monday), in the Ritual Hall of Commun. Gabrovo, from 13.00 to 15.00 (registration: 12.30 – 13.00).

DG ECF experts will provide detailed explanation on the opportunities that the National Recovery and Sustainability Plan measure offers to micro, small, medium and large enterprises. It has a budget of BGN 180 million. The funds can be used to purchase machinery, facilities, equipment or software that companies can use to help limit environmental damage. The aim is to accelerate the transition to a circular economy for companies in the manufacturing sector by using resources more efficiently and introducing climate-neutral methods and technologies for the production and consumption of products.

The application process is done online through the ISUN 2020 system (https://rb.gy/4sh7s). Project proposals can be submitted until 16.30 on 03 October 2023.
