WP2 of the ADi4SMEs is focused on carrying out tasks related to the supporting services of the Digital Transformation Accelerator (DTA) for the EDIH network. It ensures quick access to service providers, facilitates knowledge transfer and promotes the exchange of experience.
It contributes to:
- the use of the DTA as an accelerating tool for building the digital capacity of companies and public institutions;
- connecting companies with other companies within the same value chain, thereby creating synergies with innovators and companies ready to invest;
- active communication and participation in various events and forums to enhance the capacity of the EDIH of North Central Bulgaria through networking with other hubs.
The supporting activities are divided into three tasks:
- DTA and strengthening of international connections;
- Capacity building;
- Cooperation at the EU level.
Progress achieved by June 2025
The progress achieved by June 2025 in the implementation of the specified tasks is related to:
- Five memoranda of cooperation have been signed with other EDIHs:
- EDIH Trakia – Bulgaria;
- EDIH Vilnius, coordinated by Sunrise Valley Science and Technology Park – Lithuania;
- EDIH of Northern Denmark – AddSmart – Denmark;
- WIN-WIN EDIH (WIN2EDIH) Kiev – Ukraine;
- DIH4Society Cluj-Napoca – Romania.
Within the framework of these memoranda, a wide range of areas for cooperation have been planned, forming a foundation for improved knowledge transfer in support of greater competitiveness of companies.
Training and visits
- The team of the EDIH North Central Bulgaria has successfully completed 7 Train-the-Trainer courses provided through the DTA platform. This ensures access to the most up-to-date and cutting-edge knowledge, which can be implemented in the delivery of services to businesses.
- One visit was conducted to DigIhub Burgas, where experiences were shared and topics of mutual interest were discussed.
- During an event held in March in Stara Zagora, our representatives visited and exchanged experiences with the EDIH Zagore.

- Representatives of EDIH North Central Bulgaria participated in an event presenting the Network and Information Security Directive (NIS 2), held in Gabrovo on January 9, 2025. The event was organized as part of the activities of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN).
