On 2 December 2025, the European Digital Innovation Hub for the Northern Central Region of Bulgaria will host its Open Day in Gabrovo, bringing together businesses, institutions, and innovators eager to explore the latest advances in digital and green technologies. The event will feature a distinguished lineup of lecturers, each contributing expertise in key areas shaping today’s innovation ecosystem.
Alexander Ivanov – Digital Marketing & Innovation Expert
Executive Director of wellConnected Marketing Ecosystem and co-founder of CreateX Digital Agency and Native Digital, the first TikTok agency in Bulgaria. With more than 50,000 students trained through his courses, Alexander is a leading figure in digital education and former Country Manager for Google Digital Garage.
Stanimir Yovchev – UI/UX Designer & IIoT Specialist
A seasoned professional in graphic design, multimedia, and web development, Stanimir works at David Holding AD, where he develops innovative digital platforms supporting industrial digitalization. He is actively involved in Industrial IoT projects, including implementations at EMKA Sevlievo.
Dobromira Yaneva – Environmental Biotechnology & Sustainability
Dobromira holds two master’s degrees and is pursuing a PhD in food product analysis. She has contributed to national ecological and sustainability projects and is part of the Regional Innovation Center “Ambitious Gabrovo”, supporting SMEs through applied science and cross-sector collaboration.
Alexander Angelov – Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Engineer
Co-founder of AI Safety Bulgaria and AI engineer at IBM, he focuses on responsible AI, machine learning, and the deployment of RAG-based conversational systems. Alexander also serves as an expert and lecturer at RIC “Ambitious Gabrovo.”
Svetoslav Mateev – Software Engineering & Green Innovation Entrepreneur
Svetoslav is an experienced entrepreneur with international certifications from Johns Hopkins University, University of Pennsylvania, and the University of Oxford. He is co-founder of the Clean Environment initiative and participates in numerous European projects in Industry 4.0, circular economy, and climate technologies.
